TRAFFIC CITATIONS IN WINSTON TRAILS

I have news to report. It's good news or bad news, depending on what your driving habits are. If you're one of the many people (too many!) who regularly roll through our FULL STOP signs at 20 miles an hour, or faster, or who turn right at FULL STOP signs without slowing down to a stop, this will be bad news. Our Sheriff's deputy is now on patrol regularly in Winston Trails, and it is his goal to stop and issue citations to anybody he sees committing a major moving violation. I hope he pays attention to those people who pass the Guard Shack at 50 miles an hour on their way out to Jog Road, and to those people who feel that the 35 MPH SPEED LIMIT signs posted all over Winston Trails are not intended for them. Fines for moving violations start at $80. That's a secondary reason for observing the traffic rules; safety is the primary reason. Please help us to keep Winston Trails safe for our children, by observing all the traffic regulations.
